How to read this crosswalk. Alignment means an item is consistent with and supported by the referenced guidance. It does not imply that these organizations endorse Bereavement Ready or the Bereavement-Ready Care™ Standard. Consistent with the Interpretive Guide, the standard defines the capability, not the method: hospitals meet each item in their own way. Where an item rests primarily on published bereavement research rather than a single framework, it is marked Research base.
